Bromelain Enzymes
Bromelain Enzymes are derived from pineapple. Their prime function is to digest proteins. In recent years, a number of *clinical studies have appeared to substantiate one of the traditional therapeutic uses of extracts of bromelain, namely, in the treatment of inflammatory disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The potentially beneficial effects are due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain killing) properties. Currently, bromelain is used for acute inflammation and sports injuries.
